Spin Structure of Nucleons
Wolf-Dieter Nowak (Desy, Germany)

Recent data on the longitudinal and transverse spin structure of nucleons will be discussed, as obtained by experiments studying polarized nucleons at CERN, DESY, JLab, and RHIC. In particular the spin structure functions g1 and b1 will be shown, and current results on sea and gluon distribution functions will be mentioned. SIDIS transverse asymmetries and conclusions on the extraction of Sivers and Collins functions will be given. Different asymmetries measured in Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering will be presented, together with conclusions and outlook towards accessing Generalized Parton Distributions. Also, access to parton orbital and total angular momentum will be mentioned.
