The VIII International Workshop Relativistic
Aspects of Nuclear Physics (RANP08) is the eighth in a series started
in 1989, aiming to bring together people working in hadron physics,
with special emphasis on high-energy heavy ion collisions and the phases
of strong interactions. The workshop is organized by the Brazilian
hadron community, and this year it will be hosted at Centro Brasileiro
de Pesquisas Físicas, in Rio
de Janeiro, from 3 to 6 November, 2008.
